This is a sample of the ballot... These ballots were printed in South Africa under incredible security measures. They bundles arrived - almost 3000 - at the Lungi Airport (Freetown) on Monday the 5th of November. There are almost 3000 polling stations/centres and the ballots will be distributed two days prior to election day. The ballots have been moved from Lungi to a warehouse to the east of Freetown... and will be distributed from there.

Yes, the UN, army, police, international donors such as DFID, the EU, USAID, etc. are all "on guard" and are watching very closely.

Interestingly, I've heard that some party members are advising that people should "check" or "thumbprint" the party they want - and the party they don't want... thereby voiding the ballot. For example... Party A will say to the supporters of Party B they should "mark" twice on the ballot... enhancing Party A's numbers by voiding ballots for Party B.

Oh the shenanigans...
