(Congo Cross, specifically) is green today... Saturday, October 27th.
This is the scene from Congo Cross photographed at around 6:30 PM, from
my balcony. Interestingly, people looked like they were having a pretty
good time... The SL Police, on the other
hand, seemed totally unprepared, dazed and disorganized. I'm glad there
were some green-clad parade officials to help direct the crowds and
traffic. Wow... politics in Sierra Leone... gotta love it. S/
